I think I wrote briefly about the U2 and Greenday performances at the NFL game when they re-opened the Superdome in New Orleans for Music Rising.

For the third time in almost as many weeks, I made peanut butter cookies because I was supposed to be seeing a friend who's birthday was during Thanksgiving and I wanted to give her some as a "sorry we couldn't see you on your actual birthday" treat. This has given me a chance to perfect my technique and find a recipe that works well. This last one, I believe (and Theo and Bruce's tummies seem to agree) is the best one. It's the recipe from the Kraft peanut butter jar -- but with Reese's Peanut Butter Chips added.
