Isn't bamboo in low supply? So much so that the poor pandas can't find them to eat? Think I read something like that couple years ago.
Hmmm...bamboo is much easier and quicker to grow than wood. From today's Metro paper: "Bamboo in particular is the fastest-growing and perhaps most versatile plant that is also 100 per cent biodegradable."
